(Australia-NewsWire.Com, August 24, 2012 ) Geelong, Victoria -- The Denver Post, a publication out of Colorado in the United States is reporting a new idea for child’s activities—psychic classes.
The leader of the class said it isn’t necessarily about children discovering their sixth sense, but rather the classes are about children becoming more connected to their sense of intuition through creative activities and quiet time. The article also says the class focuses on teaching children about an appreciation for personal space and boundaries, allowing them to channel their energy and feel more confident in their daily lives.
The class teaches children to focus on words such as energy, essence and spirit, which the instructor feels is the real meaning of the word psychic.
The feature story by the Denver Post comes on the heels of a new interview in New York Magazine, where Kim Kardashian claims a psychic predicted she would be famous years before, to her late father Robert Kardashian.
“What used to be seen as hocus pocus is now being seen as a legitimate field, and there’s been a rising consciousness of psychics, tarot readings and clairvoyants throughout television, movies and the media in recent years,” said Liz, a psychic with Aliz’s Psychic Solutions, based in Australia. “It’s no longer a ridiculous thing to visit a psychic, and in fact, people from all walks of life have developed long-term relationships with their psychics.”
“We have people come to us from all backgrounds; men, women, rich, poor, it doesn’t matter, they’re drawn to what we’re doing, and when they have a life-changing experience with us, they begin to trust us, and a relationship is formed,” said Liz. “It’s not just about a crystal ball, we’re real people, but we have special abilities to sense things that other people can’t. People come to us for psychic readings on any number of topicsfrom love and relationships, family, work, to connect with loved ones who have passed on.”
In addition to teaching a sense of intuition and harnessing of energy, the psychic classes featured in the Denver Post also teach children to read energies and auras, meet spirit guides, and set energetic boundaries, according to the article.
“While we think that as psychics we have a gift that can’t be taught, we’re so glad to see the negative stigma being lifted from what we do,” said Liz. “We’re not here to provide misinformation to anyone, and we love what we do. It’s important to us that people learn more about what we do, in order for people to truly understand what a psychic can bring to their life.”
